Ingredients

1 bottle Beacon Light #8
6 bags mulling spices
1 ½ cups apple cider
¼ cup cranberry juice
¼ cup maple syrup
2 Tbsp fresh orange juice + zest of 1 orange
1 Tbsp vanilla extract
Optional: ½ Tbsp cardamom pods, 2 cinnamon sticks,
¼ cup fresh or frozen cranberries

Directions

  1. Combine the wine, mulling spices, cider, juice, syrup, vanilla, orange juice and zest with optional cardamom, cinnamon sticks, and cranberries in a large saucepan
  2. Bring to a boil and simmer over low heat for 15-18 minutes.
  3. Pour into mugs, add an orange peel and cinnamon stick to each and serve.
